An equine-assisted learning session

A Daisy Lesson

An equine-assisted learning session is basically a chance to work alongside horses in a way that helps you learn more about yourself and how you interact with others. We might do activities like leading a horse, grooming, or completing simple challenges together. The horses respond honestly to our body language and energy, which can reveal a lot about communication, confidence, leadership, and teamwork. After each activity, we take some time to talk about what happened and how those lessons might apply to everyday life.

These sessions can be for all ages. Like any activity involving animals, there are some risks to be aware of. Horses are large, powerful animals and can sometimes react unexpectedly by stepping sideways, pulling away, kicking, biting, or startling. Participants could be at risk of minor injuries such as bumps, bruises, or scrapes, and more serious injuries are possible, though they're less common when proper safety procedures are followed.

Sessions can be done individually or up to four people. These sessions start out at $55 and can increase based on time and number of people.
